Chinese legislature considers tougher & stricter rules on research involving human genes & embryo, a move since the controversy sparked by Chinese scientist who created the world's first gene-edited babies. The draft said medical & human trials would face closer scrutiny & stricter requirements such as human subjects to be briefed properly. Administrative authorities & ethical committees will approve all future trials.
