Chinese smartphones account for 66% of Indian market in Q1 2019

India's is the world's fastest-growing market for smartphones. Chinese brands maintain a record of 66% of the Indian smartphones market in the first quarter, Xiaomi Corp being the market leader but the competition is catching up. Chinese brands have grown 20% year-on-year in the country & the main reason was the growth of Vivo, Realme & OPPO; out of which Vivo saw max growth at 119% YoY & Oppo grew by 28% YoY.
