Many northern Italian towns were on effective lockdown after the new virus linked to China claimed 2 lives in Italy & several others fell sick who had no direct links to the origin of the virus. The mayor of Milan, Italy's business capital, shuttered public offices. Over 25 people were confirmed infected in Italy were in isolation pending test results. In S Korea, Singapore & Iran, clusters of infections are leading outside China.
