Coronavirus scare: Apple green signals to using disinfectant wipes to clean iPhone

Apple has always advised against using anything else but water to clean its touchscreens. It is because some of the substances can damage the products. However, with the Coronavirus scare growing exponentially, Apple has updated its “how to clean your Apple products” section on the website. They said that cleaning the iPhones, Mac and iPads gently with a 70% isopropyl alcohol wipe or Clorox disinfectant wipe is okay.
