Even after TikTok's ban in India, ByteDance to invest $1 Billion

Just a few days back, the Indian government banned TikTok on Google and Apple stores but still, ByteDance wants to invest $1 Billion in its India operations. The Chinese social networking company said that the last year it invested $100 million in India operations and will now invest $1 billion but has not mentioned any timeline. It is also planning to develop a new video-sharing app after the ban.
