HalloApp, a private social media network that promises to be safe and ad-free, was created by two developers who worked on the first iteration of WhatsApp. The social networking app, which has a lot of similarities to WhatsApp, was released last week on Google Play Store and Apple App Store. For an added degree of protection, the platform offers end-to-end encryption. Also, the only method for others to add you is by their phone number.
