Facebook acquires popular VR game Beat Saber owner Beat Games

Facebook Inc is going to acquire Beat Games, the studio behind Beat Saber, a popular virtual-reality game that mixes music, lightsabers and dancing into one experience. However, the acquisition price is still undisclosed. Beat Games will join Facebook’s Oculus gaming studio and will operate independently out of its current base in Prague. The acquisition is important as Oculus is trying to expand VR to mainstream consumers.
