Facebook active users count surpasses 3 billion, profit doubles in second quarter

According to the financial report by Facebook, the quarterly profit of the social media giant doubled in the second quarter. Facebook made a profit of $5.2 billion (roughly Rs. 38,877 crores) on $18.7 billion (roughly Rs. 1.39 lakh crores) in revenue in the recently ended quarter. The active users' count of Facebook also went beyond 3 billion. Zuckerberg called it a stronger quarter for the company.
