Tech giant Facebook has threatened to suspend users and media organizations in Australia from sharing news stories to oppose government plans to force digital giants to pay for content. Facebook said it will stop Australians from posting local and international articles on Facebook and Instagram. The Mark Zuckerberg-owned tech giant said it was the "only way to protect against an outcome that defies logic".
