Facebook to provide financial assistance to journalism industry, offers $100 million

At a time, when most of the people have isolated themselves inside their homes to prevent the coronavirus from spreading, journalists are battling the virus beyond home boundaries. Keeping the same into consideration, Facebook announced $25 million in emergency grant funding for local news and $75 million in additional marketing spend to move money over to news organizations around the world.
