Facial recognition tech trial begins at Delhi airport

A 3-months long trial of biometric facial recognition entry system has started taking place for the Vistara airlines at the Terminal 3 of Indira Gandhi International airport, New Delhi. According to the spokesperson, the participation in this trial is completely voluntary and with this system passengers' entry will be based on the facial recognition at all checkpoints, including airport entry, exit, and aircraft boarding.
