Lab-grown meat has been successfully cultured in the ISS, 248 miles away from the Earth. Aleph Farms, an Israeli food-tech startup grew the meat in space away from any natural resources. Bovine cells were harvested on Earth & taken to space, where they were grown into small-scale muscle tissue. The development marks a further step forward & the technique can be used to provide meat for people living on the ISS.
