First meat successfully grown on the ISS lab 248 miles away from Earth01:20:00 AM, Wednesday 9th of October 2019 | in technology
Lab-grown meat has been successfully cultured in the ISS, 248 miles away from the Earth. Aleph Farms, an Israeli food-tech startup grew the meat in space away from any natural resources. Bovine cells were harvested on Earth & taken to space, where they were grown into small-scale muscle tissue. The development marks a further step forward & the technique can be used to provide meat for people living on the ISS.
