For contactless payment Gemalto launched Biometric credit cards

Digital security firm Gemalto has launched biometric credit cards for contactless payment. The transaction will occur using the user’s fingerprints and the EMV-biometric chip will be installed in the cards for that. The biometric sensor will scan the fingerprint and then access the cardholder’s details and will authenticate the transaction. The card will be compatible with already existing payment terminals of the country.
