The Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL) will soon sign a contract with the Indian Navy for the 45,000-ton FSS (fleet support ships) if all goes well with the ongoing negotiations. The Turkish Shipyard turned out to be technically qualified for the FSS project for the Indian Navy. This will be the first time that a Turkish shipyard will participate in any defence contract in India if it clicks through.
