France to sue Google and Apple for abusive trade practices

The French government is taking Apple and Google to court for abusive trade practices with developers. According to them, both firms decide on the commission they will take, with no option for negotiation, while imposing contract terms which the firms can change whenever they want, which the developers are forced to accept. The French finance minister said he was making this move to protect domestic tech startups.
