Fellow of the Royal Society(FRS) elected 51 eminent scientists for their exceptional contributions to science. Dr. Gagandeep Kang is the first Indian woman scientist to have received this incredible honour & Mumbai-born Padma Bhushan awardee Dr. Yusuf Hamied was elected as Honorary Fellow. Kang is a leading scientist in India, with her main focus is on viral infections in children & testing of rotaviral vaccines.
