It has come as good news for Alexa users as the free ad-supported tier of Amazon Music has gone live on Thursday for them only. Other users can't take advantage yet. The new version allows selecting ad-supported top playlists & stations for free on compatible Alexa devices. Earlier, users had to buy Prime membership for this, which has Prime Music bundled in, or to pay a monthly fee ranging from $3.99 to $9.99 separately.
