After Twitter, Google has now announced to display a Blue checkmark next to a sender's name to verify their identity and minimise scams, which is free at the moment. In 2021, the company first introduced Brand Indicators for Message Identification (BIMI) in Gmail, a feature that requires senders to use strong authentication and verify their brand logo in order to display a brand logo as an avatar in emails.
