The reports of racial discrimination continue to emerge in Google and researcher manager Samy Bengio is the newest to resign over the reports of discrimination in the firm. Bengio tendered his resignation after a couple of his colleagues raised their voice over the firing of artificial intelligence researcher Timnit Gebru. While several Google employees have left in the past, Bengio is the highest-ranking employee to resign.
