Google announced $550M e-commerce deal with China’s JD.com

For some time, Google has been spreading its wings in China and today, in a new strategic move, the tech giant has purchased $550 million worth of shares of a Chinese e-commerce firm JD.com. Right now, the companies are working on a range of strategic initiatives and retail solutions in the U.S, Southeast Asia and Europe. It’s an interesting move for Google as they also have the partnership with JD’s rival Alibaba.
