Google Assistant on Pixel 4 can take over while you’re on hold during a phone call. It’s the latest feature Google will add to make the day-to-day phone experience better. The feature is still early in development. Whenever you’re on a call and end up on hold you just have to tap a button on display to tell Assistant you’re on hold and it will inform you when there’s an actual human back on other ends of the call.
