Google, Facebook and Twitter may leave Pakistan over new censor rules

Leading technology firms Google, Facebook and Twitter have threatened to leave Pakistan over the new powers given to the authorities to censor digital content. The new powers given to the authorities by the government are seen as an attempt to curb freedom of expression. Asia Internet Coalition, the representing body of the firms threatened to leave the Islamic nation after PM Imran Khan gave additional powers to the authorities.
