Chrome updates have left some Android users furious about the latest release. That’s why Google has paused the release for Chrome 79 on Android after reports of the update deleting data from third-party apps using the WebView framework came out. The data is technically intact, but there's no way to access it. That’s a serious problem for apps depending heavily on WebView. The most affected app is Twitter Lite.
