Google Play Store’s auto-playing videos can now be turned off

Autoplaying video is one of the internet’s most annoying things consuming a huge chunk of data and system resources. Google had introduced the feature on its Play Store a few months ago, but it backfired with users across the board opting to go out. However, the version 17.9.17 of the Google Play Store app now allows you to disable these videos. After initial testing, Google has rolled out the option to all users.
