It is not just Facebook, even Google has stored some passwords in plain text since 2005. Google has warned G Suite users that an error in a password recovery implementation left some of their passwords unhashed on its internal systems since 2005 until that method was discontinued. It has asked G suite users to change passwords & automatically resetting for those who do nothing. Consumer Google accounts were not affected.
