US-based, investment research and management firm ‘Bernstein’ claims that Google has agreed to pay nearly $3 billion to remain the default search engine on iOS devices. The amount has increased 3 times from 1 billion dollars in 2014 to 3 billion this year. Google may account for 5% of Apple’s total operating profits this year.
