Google X to set up Development Centre in Visakhapatnam

In a bid to boost wireless technology in Andhra Pradesh, Google X has signed a MoU with the government of AP on Thursday to set up a development centre in Andhra Pradesh’s Visakhapatnam. This will be the 1st development centre outside the US. The new Internet technology which AP govt would buy from Google is capable of providing high-speed wireless Internet to people without laying cable by March 2019.
