Google's advanced protection expands to phone-only users

Google's highest account protection system can now be activated without spending too much on two security keys. All you need is a smartphone. The tech giant has now lowered the barrier to register for Google's free Advanced Protection Program to stop the most sophisticated attacks on your Gmail and Google Drive accounts. It needs a physical security key to store a unique passcode in USB or a Bluetooth connection.
