Baltimore's city govt has been dealing with a ransomware attack since May 7 that has shut down everything. The tool that crippled the city is an NSA creation called EternalBlue, that's used in other high-profile cyber attacks. Hackers used EternalBlue which exploits a vulnerability in certain versions of Microsoft Windows XP & Vista systems, allowing an external party to execute remote commands on their target.
