Scientists made a new discovery about asteroids, they found out how water gets regenerated on asteroids. The findings suggest water can be restored on the asteroid's surface if both solar wind & impacting meteoroids come together in very low temperatures. Both electrons & thermal shock are necessary to maintain the supply of water molecules on asteroids. This finding could possibly extend to Moon & other celestial bodies.
