India gifts solar panels to the United Nations headquarters to be installed on the roof in New York as a goodwill gesture. This move comes to reinstate its commitment to combat climate change. This will help in conserving & generating electricity. The UN tweeted the solar panels are powered up to reach the max of 50KW of generation power & a green roof has been installed on the building as a part of gift from India.
