India to force Whatsapp, telegram to trace back the origin of sensitive messages

Indian government is looking to enforce traceability on social messaging apps like Whatsapp, Facebook and Telegram and others to find out people who are stirring up controversy online. Government will ask the platforms to provide the origin information of the sensitive messages. It is not the first time Indian government will ask for traceability, even though 27 experts of the industry have asked them to drop it.
