The Indian units of Redmi 7A will have a major chipset boost with Snapdragon 730 SoC replacing the Snapdragon 439 of the original version. Xiaomi might also introduce an extra camera on the back of the phone, or an 18W fast charging support. The Indian launch of the much anticipated Redmi 7A is scheduled for July 4 after its debut in China earlier in May. Since then speculation was rife about the potential upgrade.
