Witnessing 5 fold increase in data usage in last one year, India carried the heaviest data on its network with 2.1 exabytes of data per month (1 exabyte = 1 million terabytes). India left many countries including North America, EU, Latin America, China, Eastern Europe and the Middle East & Africa, behind when it comes to global internet traffic. Many factors like reduction in data charges and entry of Jio leads to growth.
