IIT Madras became the first institute to host the meeting of Special Technology Cells(STCs), established by ISRO and the government's department of space in various research institutes. The meeting was held between September 16-17 at the IIT Madras campus. The STCs are being operated by the ISRO and the government at various research institutes to carry out research focused on space-related technologies for 30 years.
