Indigenously developed Prithvi-2 missile successfully test-fired at night from Odisha
India successfully test-fired it's indigenously developed Prithvi-2 missile as part of a user trial by the army from Odisha coast. 2 Prithvi missiles were test-fired consecutively in quick succession and both met all test parameters. The missile trajectory was tracked by radars, electro-optical tracking systems and telemetry stations by the DRDO. Prithvi-2 is capable of carrying 500-1000kg of warheads.
