Intel and Qualcomm lobby against Huawei ban

US chipmakers Intel, Qualcomm, and Xilinx Inc have reportedly been quietly lobbying the US government in an attempt to ease the Huawei ban. A team of executives from Intel and Xilinx Inc believed to have met the US Commerce Department earlier this year to discuss a solution to the Trump Administration's desperation to include Huawei on the 'entity list' which will bar US companies from trading with the Chinese brand.
