Ian Beer, a member of Google’s Project Zero hacking team has shed light on an iPhone exploit that lets hackers gain complete remote access to the device that includes accessing the camera. Beer was of the opinion that iPhones and other Apple devices could be remotely hijacked and turned into surveillance tools. However, Apple patched the vulnerability after May. beer used iPhone’s Apple Wireless Direct Link to hijack the phone.
