Ireland Donegal Airport wins best runway award

In a survey conducted by PrivateFly, Donegal Airport in Donegal County, Ireland, has won the award for a best runway. With a beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean, CarrickFinn beach and Mount Errigal, the airport beat 111 other airports to win the title. The airport opened in 1986 but wasn't fully developed until the 1990s. The airport was used as a backdrop in the Star Wars movie lands on Malin's head.
