Kolkata-based iMerit raised $20 million for Data annotation business

The deep-tech startup, Kolkata-based iMerit Technology Services has raised $20 million Series B funding that was led by UK Government-owned CDC group. iMerit is planning to use the fund to hire more employees. They currently have 3K employees and they are planning to have 10K employees to triple the workforce. The company offers artificial intelligence-powered platform that offers data annotations and labelling services.
