LS Elections: Facebook blocks/removes up to 1 million accounts per day

Ahead of LS Polls, Facebook is blocking or removing nearly 1 million accounts per day & removed nearly 700 pages, groups, accounts last week, using AI & machine learning. The tools also help them identify abusive or violating content. It partnered with 3rd party fact checkers to 7 accredited organizations in India. They have launched political ad transparency tools that give a clear picture of who is placing the ads they see.
