Malicious Cyber-Attack hit US Customs, leaving travelers photos exposed
The US Customs & Border protection suffered a data breach as the malicious cyber attack hit a CBP subcontractor, leaving travellers photos & license plate info exposed that were collected by CBP. CBP said none of the images was found in the dark web but declined to answer the scope of attack & stolen data. They refused to name the subcontractor. The cyber attack comes amid the ongoing rollout of the biometric entry-exit system.
