Malware detected on the Camscanner App, removed from Play Store

Trojan Dropper module was found malicious in the popular App Cam Scanner. It was so that the module extracted and ran another malicious module from an encrypted file. This was first detected by Kaspersky researchers. Kaspersky products found this module as Trojan-Dropper.AndroidOS.Necro.n, which was preinstalled on Chinese smartphones. This was reported to Google, which led the app getting removed from the Play store.
