In Gale Crater, where the Mars Curiosity rover has been exploring since 2012, the rover just caught sight of this charming tiny rock structure. The small textured arch is just around 6.5 inches tall, but mission scientists were intrigued by its unique design. Curiosity rover was supposed to remain on Mars for two years, but the SUV-sized rover has been roaming Gale Crater for nine years, taking selfies and uncovering new breakthroughs.
