Microsoft blames Israeli company for malware that affected its PCs
Tech giant Microsoft has said the malware that was used to infect PCs running its Windows operating system was created by an Israeli organisation. The company said it is taking a new effort to deal with internet security issues. The company has also been looking into the role of government-backed hackers, such as the Chinese organisation Hafnium. Microsoft thinks Hafnium launched attacks on its Exchange Server email software.
