A day after it was confirmed that ByteDance rejected Microsoft's buyout offer to opt for Oracle for selling TikTok's operation in United States, it has been found that the reason behind Microsoft's buyout offer being rejected may be the tech giant accidentally insulting ByteDance's CEO. As per the reports, ByteDance CEO Zhang Yiming was upset over Microsoft characterizing TikTok as a security risk.
