Microsoft seals the renewable energy deal with Bengaluru facility

On Tuesday, Microsoft completed its first renewable energy deal that will aid its office building in India with solar power. According to the deal, three megawatts solar-powered electricity will be bought from Bengaluru based Atria Power which will alot 80% of the electricity needs. This deal also covers Karnataka government's programme that aims at encouraging investments in local solar energy operations.
