Microsoft has urged the users of the older version of Windows to get an update immediately to avoid a potentially widespread attack. The giant patched a critical remote code execution vulnerability in RDS that exists in Windows XP, Windows 7, & server versions like Windows Server 2003. Microsoft is taking unusual approach of releasing patches for Windows XP & Windows Server 2003 even though they are out of support.
