Mumbai attains new global standards: You can now drink water straight from the tap!

BMC's hydraulic engineer says that Mumbaikars can now drink water from the taps. Water samples were tested & the content of E.coli was less than 1%. Acc to reports of various international bodies, water available with the BMC's master Balance Reservoir at Bhandup was considered to be one of the purest across the world. But the water that reached locals was of inferior quality. BMC has made alterations in the water supply system.
