NASA's next mission to the moon was named Artemis. It will take the first woman to the moon, and the deadline for the project was 2028 before the Trump govt accelerated the dates to 2024. However, the mission is now facing financial trouble. NASA would need an additional $1.6 billion to pay for the new ground and space vehicles to meet the 2024 deadline.
